BOONSBORO, Md. — The National Road Museum will host Maryland Natural Resources Police History Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 22.
The event will take place at the museum, 214 N. Main St., and will highlight the history of the Maryland Natural Resources Police, which has protected the state’s wildlife and natural environment for more than 150 years.
Visitors will be able to view objects and badges from the Maryland Natural Resources Police Museum collection, according to the National Road Heritage Foundation.
The event also will include a children’s activity allowing participants to design and color a paper police badge or insignia to take home.
The program is listed as a Special Exhibit Saturday event by the National Road Heritage Foundation.
