WAYNESBORO, Pa. — More than 200 children in the Waynesboro and Greencastle areas received support ahead of the new school year through a recent back-to-school event organized by Waynesboro Community & Human Services.
The organization said the event helped children and families prepare for the return to school while bringing together volunteers and community supporters.
Waynesboro Community & Human Services thanked the volunteers who donated their time to assist with the effort, saying their support was essential to the event’s success.
The organization also expressed appreciation to the families and community members who attended and supported the program.
The back-to-school event served children from both communities, providing assistance to help families begin the academic year prepared.
