BOONSBORO, Md. — The sixth annual Boonsboro Food Truck Festival will return to Shafer Park on Sunday, Sept. 6, with regional food vendors, live music, craft beverages, artisan vendors and family activities.
The free event will run from noon to 6 p.m. at Shafer Park, 37 Park Drive. It is hosted by Visit Boonsboro, Md., and presented by the Boonsboro Town Alliance.
Festivalgoers will be able to choose from a lineup of food trucks serving seafood, barbecue, Jamaican cuisine, macaroni and cheese, wings, subs, hot dogs and other fare. Participating vendors include Cousins Maine Lobster, Catchin Fish Chips, Sweet Grub Machine, C&G Jerk Authentic Jamaican Chicken, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, Tuckers Pucker with Stoner Dogs Subs and Sammies, Keep It Smokin BBQ, Chedda Mac’s, The Chicken Wingboys, Three Daughters Food Truck and La Parada.
Dessert options are expected to include Glamorview Dairy Bar, M.R. Cheesecakes, Beach Bowls, Snowball Waterfall and Castle Pop Corn. Sip Mobile will offer beverages.
Live entertainment will begin at noon with Tony M, who is scheduled to perform from noon to 1:30 p.m. and later lead an interactive musical activity for children. Mack Berry will perform from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by Park Avenue Band from 4 to 6 p.m.
Park Avenue Band is expected to close the festival with Motown, R&B, horn-driven rock and dance music.
Admission is free.
