Pamela ‘Pam’ Beaver, 70, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at her home in Greencastle, PA. Born on February 2, 1956 to Cecil and Betty Oberholzer, Pam lived in Greencastle all but 2 years of her life. She married her childhood sweetheart, David Beaver, in 1973.
She will be missed by her husband and their children, Shelly (Matthew) Bricker and Dustin (Tiffany) Beaver, her grandsons Jordan and Dylan Beaver, who affectionately referred to her as G, her siblings, Greg (Cindy) Oberholzer, Gloria ‘Jeannie’ (George) Wachter, and Brian Oberholzer, along with many brothers and sisters in-law, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John, Mike and Timothy Oberholzer.
Pam liked to have her family around her and enjoyed playing games with them. She liked watching Orioles baseball and Grey’s Anatomy. She is mostly known for her love of snowmen. She had a huge collection that was aptly named ‘Frostyland’. It would be displayed for months, had hundreds of visitors over the years, and was featured in the newspaper and on the local news.
She liked butterflies in spring and summer. Although she was a homebody, she loved going to The Parlor House to eat whenever she could. G loved spending time with the boys whether watching the Orioles games, watching them play baseball, or just listening to their stories.
The family wishes to thank Journey Hospice for their care over the last 8 months and to request in lieu of flowers, to please build a snowman in memory of Pam this winter.
