Ryan Clair Cook, 62 of Fayetteville, died Tuesday morning, July 21, 2026. Born September 7, 1963 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Ronald W. and the late Evelyn Faye Reath Cook. Ryan graduated from Chambersburg Senior High School in 1981, became a master carpenter winning a Midstate Carpenters Competition and 4th in the state and was a member of the Harrisburg Carpenters Local 287, working for over 20 years with H.B. Alexander, Reynolds Construction Management, Gilbane, et al. as a project superintendent and project manager.
Ryan was kind, creative, loved helping friends and family when he was well, and enjoyed his tight-knit circle in Fayetteville. He enjoyed spending time watching NASCAR, sports, the history channel, and listening to classic rock, doing anything outdoors like fishing, boating and being on or near the ocean and attending concerts and races.
Surviving is his loving and dedicated wife of 32 years, Denise Ann Cook; children, Bradley (Amy) Statler, Carly Cook, and Courtney Cook; granddaughter, Skye Statler; great granddaughter, Ivy Jane; sister, Cynthia Roach and husband, Ken of Great Cacapon, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held for family members only.
A celebration of life is being planned for all family and friends.
