Mrs. Katrina G. (Wagaman) Rohrer, 94, a resident of The Village of Luther Ridge, Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026, in the senior living community.
Born March 9, 1932, in Quincy, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Madeline (Fahrney) Wagaman.
She and her husband, the late Paul E. Rohrer, were married October 9, 1948. They enjoyed 59 years of marriage together before Mr. Rohrer passed away August 25, 2008.
Mrs. Rohrer held several different positions throughout her life including working at the Waynesboro Knitting Mill, the Mont Alto Shoe Factory, Mont Alto, PA, and Penn State University Mont Alto Campus, where she served as a dietary aide for 17 years.
She was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church and faithfully volunteered her time serving meals at the Mont Alto Senior Center. She found great joy in decorating her home and took pride in keeping it immaculate. Mrs. Rohrer loved tending to her flowers and was happiest at home, where she created a warm and welcoming space for those she loved. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two children, John P. Rohrer and his wife, Deborah of Mont Alto, and Debra K. Kahl and her husband, John of Quincy; her grandchildren, Karla Seville (Benjamin), Jennifer Schorn (Joe), Lori Kahl-Smith, and Matthew Kahl (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Hartlie Seville, Colby Smith, Taryn Smith, Lexie Smith, Jake Schorn, John Kahl and Lily Kahl; and her great-great-grandsons, Conner, Coleson, Cayden and Camryn Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Rohrer and her parents.
Private graveside services will be held in Quincy Cemetery.
