WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The Waynesboro Youth League hosted 10 elite 10U baseball teams from Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland for the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament. The tournament featured championship-caliber teams traveling from as far as Buffalo, New York, to compete at the local sports complex. Festivities began on Wednesday with an opening ceremony at 5 p.m., followed by a skills competition.
Following the opening events, full days of games will run from Thursday through Friday. Single-elimination bracket games will take place on Saturday, setting up the final round of play. The tournament will officially conclude on Sunday with the regional championship game. Click here for schedules and scores.
