Kimberly Anne (Villeneuve) Sanders, 64, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at York Hospital, York, PA.
Born November 17, 1961, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, she was one of seven children born to the late Raymond and Roberta (Smith) Villeneuve.
Kim married Billy Ray Sanders in August of 1996 in Canada. Although their years together were far too few before Billy’s passing on July 23, 2003, they were blessed with the birth of their beloved daughter, Emily, who remained the greatest joy of Kim’s life.
Kim was a loving and compassionate woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and could be counted on by those who needed her. She enjoyed listening to classic country music and found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her daughter, Emily, and her granddaughter, Marceline.
She is survived by her daughter, Emily R. Warne of Waynesboro; her cherished granddaughter, Marceline M. Wilk of Waynesboro; five siblings: Brian Villeneuve, Peter Villeneuve (Joan), Mick Villeneuve (Louise), Jim Villeneuve, and Heather Villeneuve (Tony); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Billy, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Jackson.
A memorial service to celebrate Kim’s life will be held at 11:30 A.M., Thursday, July 16, 2026, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA, with Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Thursday morning, in the funeral home.
