Geraldine F. “Gerri” Andrews, 78, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 20, 1947, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bruce and Flo (Mahaffey) McClure.

Those who knew Gerri will remember her for the simple yet meaningful joys she embraced throughout her life. She enjoyed shopping, browsing yard sales, and spending time at the beach, but above all, she cherished family gatherings. Her greatest happiness came from the time she shared with those she loved. Whether gathered around the table or enjoying quiet moments together, those memories meant the most to her and will be treasured by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Kimberly Pringle (Robert) of New Franklin, PA, Thomas Casteel (Melissa) of Chambersburg, PA, and Jane Auchmoody (Lester) of Chambersburg, PA; her grandchildren, Crystal Snyder (Anthony) and Amanda Beltz (Carl), both of Chambersburg, PA; her step grandchildren, Brett Miller of Biglerville, PA, and Paul Miller IV (Melissa) of York, PA, Jackie, Steven and Amanda Pringle; eight great-grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; her best friend, Barb Querry; and her siblings, Katie Wilson (Sid) of Chambersburg, PA, Elwood McClure (Susan) of Chambersburg, PA, and Judy Heinbaugh (Gary) of Mercersburg, PA. She also leaves behind her fur baby Tabby cat.

Though she will be deeply missed, Gerri’s gentle spirit, steady presence, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Joseph Casteel and Ronald L. Andrews; and her siblings, Betty Stevens, Gene McClure, Frank McClure, and Helen Dice.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Burial will be private at Salem cemetery.

Condolences and memories may be shared at geiselfuneralhome.com.

May her memory bring comfort, and may those who loved her find peace in the lasting legacy of her kindness and love.
