Gary Eugene Bingaman, age 79, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at his residence. Born in Greencastle, PA September 24, 1946, he was the son of the late Wade and Violet Christophel Bingaman.
Mr. Bingaman was a 1965 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. After graduating he worked as an Engineer at Grove Worldwide for 35 years. He also was a truck driver for Lehman’s Egg Service for 13 years. He was a member of the Macedonia United Brethren Church in Greencastle, PA. Gary enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, bowling, and his beloved dog Tiny.
Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Karen Evelyn Glass Bingaman, whom he married on September 15, 1967; daughter, Diana Ardinger (Luther) of Greencastle, PA; two granddaughters, Raven and Khloe Ardinger both of Greencastle, PA; sister, Shari Myers (Thomas) of Boonsboro, MD; and a brother-in-law, Robert Cordell of State Line, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bingaman Cordell
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11 AM in Macedonia United Brethren Church, 11887 Worleytown Rd., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Pastor Brian Black will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in church listed above. Interment will follow in the Macedonia United Brethren Church Cemetery.
