Mr. Barry A. Reed, 76, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, in Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.
Born January 3, 1950, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late William H. and Helen J. (Martz) Reed.
He graduated from Waynesboro High School with the Class of 1967.
He served his country honorably in the Maryland National Guard.
He and his wife, Marie Y. (Crago) were married May 31, 2000, in WV.
He was employed in the maintenance department at the Waynesboro Hospital for numerous years. He formally retired in 2014.
He was a member of the Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15, and the Moose Club, both of Waynesboro. Being a sports enthusiast, he was known for his high school career as quarterback and was an exceptional pool player.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jace Reed of Waynesboro; two stepchildren, Christina Gruver, and Rick Beeler and his wife Wendy; and numerous step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Reed.
Graveside services in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
