Alexandra Maria Chlapowski passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 89, after battling cancer. Born on July 10, 1936, in Krotoszyn, Poland, Alexandra embraced life with an infectious spirit and a love for her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jan Chlapowski; her daughter, Yolantha Siegfried; her son-in-law, Brent Siegfried; and her cherished grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew Siegfried.
Alexandra was renowned for her passion for cooking, ensuring that no one ever left her table hungry. Her culinary skills brought joy and comfort to family gatherings, where laughter and love flourished. She also had a knack for sewing, crafting beautiful clothes for herself and her daughter that showcased her creativity and care. Alexandra took immense pleasure in entertaining, always welcoming guests with warmth and generosity.
In addition to her culinary and sewing talents, Alexandra enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, as well as immersing herself in a good book. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, making memories that will last forever. Her life was a testament to love, joy, and the importance of family, qualities that will be remembered by all who knew her.
A celebration of Alexandra’s life will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026 at Corpus Christi Church, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. and the Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Father Allen Wolfe officiating.
Alexandra was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
