MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Mercersburg Academy will host a carillon recital celebrating America’s 250th birthday with music centered on peace, healing and unity from 3 to 4 p.m. July 4 on the campus lawn near Irving Memorial Chapel.
The event, open to the public, invites visitors to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the outdoor performance. The program aims to commemorate the nation’s semiquincentennial through reflective music performed on the academy’s historic carillon.
