WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Thirty athletes competed in the Strokes, Spokes & Strides triathlon Saturday, June 13, at the Waynesboro YMCA. Matthew Clark, 37, of Westminster, Maryland, won the men’s title in 1:07:42.6, while Heather Burns, 45, of Waynesboro, claimed the women’s title in 1:37:21.1. Jace Bradshaw, 37, of Baltimore, finished second among men in 1:15:33.2, and Beth Bingaman, 60, of Harrisburg, placed second among women in 1:46:13.7. In the youth divisions, Embry Gensemer, 16, of Kulpmont, won the male under-19 title in 1:11:55.8, while Logan Juhl, 17, of Crozet, Virginia, led the female under-19 field in 1:40:30.4.
