Mr. Douglas E. Baker, 63, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Born February 10, 1963 in Waynesboro, he was the son of Constance (Barnes) Voss of Fayetteville and the late Eugene Baker.
Doug was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1981.
He and his wife of over 11 years, Teresa A. (Miller) Baker, were married April 26, 2015.
Prior to his retirement in 2024, Doug was employed as a forklift operator at Proctor & Gamble for 10 years.
He was a member of South Mountain Bible Church and enjoyed raising rabbits on his farm as well as work with his hunting dogs to trap raccoons.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by daughter, Rita Baker of Harrisburg, PA; six grandchildren, Trent Cook, Zoey Snyder, Timothy Snyder, Kaeden Snyder, Gage Baker and Glenn Robinson; one brother, Daryl Baker of South Mountain; 4 nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Baker.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Mr. Henry Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Wednesday morning, in the funeral home.
