Scout came into the shelter because his owners could no longer care for him. He’s a 1-year-old bluetick coonhound/Australian cattledog/blue heeler mix. He will need someone that has time to work with him on commands and has the time to exercise him!
Scout loves attention and is a really sweet dog. Per his previous owner Scout does chase cats, so a home without cats may be best. He may also be too much for small children, so a home with older children would be good. Scout did test positive for Lyme but is currently getting treatment for it.
