Mrs. Marilyn F. (Ostrich) Crawford, 80, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 4, 1945 in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Clara (LaBuda) Ostrich. She lived her early life in the Johnstown area.
Marilyn was a graduate of Johnstown High School.
She and her husband of over 56 years, George A. Crawford, were married on April 18, 1970 in Johnstown.
Marilyn was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Christine Christianson (Carl) of Camp Hill, PA, Andrea Smutsky (Bob) of Dillsburg, PA, Jason Crawford (Kellie) of Waynesboro, Jeffrey Crawford of Harrisburg, PA, Everett Crawford (Molly) of Inwood, WV and Aiden Crawford (Rachel) of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Gardiner of Olney, MD; and many extended family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 13219 Monterey Lane, Blue Ridge Summit, PA with Rev. Peter Di Tomasso, MSSCC officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday evening, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
