Roy Larry “4 Finger” Myers, 86, of Greencastle, PA passed away on Friday May 22, 2026, at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1939, in Greencastle, PA to the late John Henry, Sr. and Hope Cornelia (Shindle) Myers.
Larry was a 1957 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. Early in life, he was employed at Springers Garage and Corning Inc. He then worked for Mack Truck in Hagerstown, MD for 47 years until his retirement. In his free time, Larry enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities. Anything from hunting, racing, riding snowmobiles, shooting, and playing poker with his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Myers of Greencastle, PA whom he married on July 3, 2008; daughter Lorie Debo and her husband Jeff of Greencastle, PA; son Travis Fisher and his wife Michelle of Greencastle, PA; daughter Ruth Wenger and her partner Val Shoop of Chambersburg, PA; brother Harry “Chip” Myers and his wife Patty of Greencastle, PA; brother Donald Myers of Chambersburg, PA; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother John H. Myers, Jr., 2 children, and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home 45 S. Carlisle Street, Greencastle, PA, where Pastor Nathan Hykes will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Thursday from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at the funeral home above. Interment will be private.
