Mrs. Judy Ann (Harbaugh) Sterner, 77, of Rouzerville, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in her home.
Born March 15, 1949 in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Maurice “John” and Ida Jane (Wilt) Harbaugh. She lived her early life in the Gettysburg area.
She and her husband of over 48 years, James W. Sterner, were married in 1977 in Eylers Valley Chapel.
In her early life, Judy did house cleaning for over 22 years. She later worked in the maintenance department of Bellarmine Retreat, retiring in 2016.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and collecting Longaberger Baskets.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Welsh (Scott) and Shelby Henderson; two step-daughters, Patty and Kelly; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Harbaugh (Rosie); and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA. Burial will follow in Harbaugh Cemetery, Rouzerville, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Wednesday morning, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
