CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Penn State Extension will host the Franklin County Master Gardener Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16 at 425 Franklin Farm Lane.
The annual event will feature a wide selection of greenhouse-grown vegetable plants, annual flowers and herbs, including rare and hard-to-find varieties. Shoppers also will find an assortment of sun- and shade-loving perennials, groundcovers, shrubs and trees available at affordable prices.
Penn State Master Gardener volunteers will be available throughout the sale to answer gardening questions and provide advice on plant selection and care.
Organizers said the sale is designed to help gardeners prepare for the growing season while supporting educational outreach efforts through the Penn State Extension Master Gardener program.
