WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro Community and Human Services is calling for increased community support as it seeks to replenish its food pantry and clothing bank to meet the ongoing needs of local individuals and families.
The organization, which provides essential resources for residents facing economic hardship, emphasized that every contribution has a direct impact on neighbors in need. Officials noted that community generosity remains a vital component in ensuring local residents do not go without basic necessities.
Donations are being accepted during the agency’s regular operating hours on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. To accommodate donors who work during the day, the facility remains open on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“Every donation makes a meaningful difference for a member in our community,” the organization stated in a recent outreach message. “Your generosity helps ensure no one goes without.”
Community members interested in supporting the initiative are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items and gently used clothing directly to the center during the designated hours. The organization expressed gratitude for the ongoing support of the public in fulfilling its mission of community service.
