MONT ALTO, Pa. – Penn State University has launched a new course to help students at the seven Commonwealth campuses, including Mont Alto, that are set to close in a year.
The “Degree Completion and Transition Support” course will automatically appear on eligible students’ online dashboards.
Penn State says the course will include:
- Guidance on academic advising and degree planning
- Financial planning
- Housing
- Student engagement
- University resources
Penn State Mont Alto campuses is among the locations set to close at the end of the spring 2027 semester, despite local pressure to maintain the campus and independent data analysis that indicates trustees were misled by the administration.
