MERCERSBURG, Pa. – State Rep. Chad Reichard (R-Franklin) was left speechless Saturday after receiving the Honorary Chapter Degree from Conococheague FFA during the organization’s annual banquet.
Reichard said he was “truly humbled and honored” to accept the award, which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to agricultural education and FFA programs.
He praised the chapter’s students and advisors for their dedication and enthusiasm, noting the impact of their work both in and out of the classroom.
“Conococheague FFA has a very special place in my heart,” Reichard said. “These young men and women are truly a bright spot in our future.”
The chapter is known for its active role in the community, including events such as Drive Your Tractor to School Day and various outreach efforts that promote agriculture and leadership development.
Reichard said he looks forward to continuing his support of the program and working alongside members to promote agricultural heritage and education.
The Honorary Chapter Degree is one of the highest recognitions an FFA chapter can bestow on supporters of its mission.
