Mr. Raymond L. Mundis, 101, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Quincy Village Nursing Home.
Born December 27, 1924 in Hallam, PA, he was the son of the late William Paul and Mazie (Heiland) Mundis. Following the death of his mother, Raymond was raised at Quincy Orphanage and attended Quincy High School.
Raymond proudly served in the United States Army, United States Air Force and United States Marine Corp.
He and his first wife, Mrs. Naomi Jeanne (Conrad) Mundis, were married August 11, 1953. They shared 47 years together when she passed away May 19, 2000. On March 17, 2001, Mr. Mundis married Helen A. (Earnest) Blubaugh Mundis. They were wed for almost 24 years when she passed away January 9, 2025.
Mr. Mundis was a longtime employee of Sharon Steel, Meadville, PA.
He is survived by: step-daughter, Joni L. Ott and her husband, Mike of Waynesboro; and step-grandson, Matthew Ott.
He was the last of his immediate family.
In addition to his parents, 1st wife, 2nd wife, Raymond was preceded in death by two children, Forrest Mundis and Rae Jean Isaly; granddaughter, Billie Jean Fabian; brother, Henry M. Mundis; and sister, Marie Ranegar.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
