Mrs. Alice F. “Chubby” (Rowe) Faith, 76, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Monday April 13, 2026, in Meritus Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Born December 16, 1949, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late George W. Rowe Sr. and Mary V. “Peanie” (Green) Rowe.
She graduated from the Waynesboro Senior High School.
She and her husband, Gary Faith were married April 22, 2017.
In her younger years, Mrs. Faith worked at Regency as a press operator.
She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, Waynesboro, and the Smithsburg Fire Department, Smithsburg, MD. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially Sunday dinners with her family. She enjoyed attending bingo and gun drawings, trying her luck at gambling, and never missed an opportunity to go on a cruise. Above all, she truly cherished her family, and nothing brought her more happiness than spending time together and making lasting memories.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her four children, Jeffery L. Rowe and his wife Heather, David “Pete” Blickenstaff, Jr., all of Waynesboro, G. Scott Blickenstaff of Smithsburg, MD, and Bobbi-Jo Stine and her husband Tommy of Hagerstown, MD; three step-children, Jeffrey Faith, Stephanie Shain, and Scott Faith; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Brian, Jada, Ashley, Devan, Dwayne, Taylor, Emily, and Nicole Hauver whom she considered a granddaughter ; six step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; her siblings, Shirley “Shird” Spencer, Dolly M. “Jo” McFerren, Linda L. “Pat” Campbell, Betty A. “Bumper” Kauffman, Doris A. “Dorie” Freeman, Debbie A. Crouse, Sue A. Gates, Robert L. “Tom” Rowe, Sr., Terry Rowe, and Larry Baker; as well as many nieces, nephews, and an extended host of family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, David P. Blickenstaff, Sr., her siblings, Mary E. Kennedy, George W. “Sonny” Rowe, III, Frances C. “Gock” Baker, and Peggy A. Jones; and one great-grandson, Cooper Stine.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 17, 2026, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Jane Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday evening, in the funeral home.
