WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The Waynesboro Area YMCA invites the great Waynesboro community and families to kick off a healthy, active summer at 2026 Healthy Kids Day ®.
Free and open to the public, this annual event features a day of fun-filled activities celebrating kids being kids.
The Waynesboro Area YMCA will host the Y’s annual Healthy Kids Day ® on April 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 810 E. Main St, Waynesboro, PA 17268. This free annual event features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families and a healthy start to the summer season.
Sponsored nationally by Peanuts and Gatorade, Healthy Kids Day’s mission is to prepare families for a safe, healthy and fun summer. Featured activities include summer camp games, crafts, face painting and balloon art, pool games, Waynesboro Police and Fire Department presentations, and more.
“Healthy Kids Day is a free community event all about inspiring families to prioritize health, wellness, and connection,” said Kim Eaton, Waynesboro Area YMCA CEO. “We’re proud to bring the community together for a day that encourages kids to stay active, engaged, and confident heading into the summer months.”
