Smithburg 5, Catoctin 4
Marquis Weakfall scored a goal and won seven of 12 faceoffs, while goalkeeper Dante Rucci collected 10 saves on Thursday in Smithsburg’s win over Catoctin.
Nick Roncone had two goal and Kaden Dietrich added two goals and an assist to pace the Leopards’ offense. Zach Linn also scored a goal.
South Hagerstown 16, Frederick 3
Wyatt Roberts scored five goals and Logan Harold added four on Thursday as South Hagerstown handled Frederick for it’s seventh win of the season.
Jack Burns had three goals and three assists.

South Hagerstown 5, Smithsburg 4
SMITHSBURG, Md. – Ja’Seri Chapman ignited South Hagerstown with three bunt singles, while Kaelynn Kunkle blasted a two-run home run and scored twice in the Rebels win over the Leopards.
South (4-4) moved out to a 5-2 lead in the first five innings and withstood Smithsburg’s two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh to hold on for the win.
Kailia Burke pitched a complete game allowing one earned run and fanned nine for the win.
Burke added a pair of doubles and an RBI, while Raelee Fry had two hits and an RBI and Triana Williams had two hits. The Rebels also drew six walks.
Kimberly Herbert, Rileigh Romberger and Adianna Dudley each drove in runs for Smithsburg. Herbert and Dudley both double.
