CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Penn State Extension will host an interactive cooking class, “Let’s Cook with Herbs and Spices,” from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at the Ag Heritage Building in Chambersburg.
The program will explore how herbs and spices can elevate flavor while supporting a nutritious diet. Participants will learn techniques for using fresh and dried seasonings to enhance everyday meals without relying on excess salt or fat.
Cooking instructors will discuss the basics of blending herbs and spices and demonstrate simple recipes that showcase their potential to transform taste and texture. The class is designed for home cooks interested in improving flavor and health in their kitchen routines.
