GREENCASTLE, Pa. – A group of Greencastle-Antrim High School students interested in careers in public service visited the Capitol earlier this week to take part in a roundtable discussion focused on government operations and career preparation.
The event, hosted by Rep. Chad Reichard (R-Franklin), featured a panel of legislative staff, government affairs professionals and representatives from Auditor General Tim DeFoor’s office. Panelists shared insights on the inner workings of the Legislature, the functions of statewide agencies and the growing importance of government affairs in shaping public policy.
Following the discussion, students toured the Capitol, learning more about Pennsylvania’s legislative process and the roles of various offices within the building.
