Lee E. Golden, Sr., 94, of Greencastle, PA, went to his Lord on March 24, 2026 after spending many years in memory care at Providence Place in Chambersburg. Lee was born on November 22, 1931 in Hagerstown, MD and was the son of Joseph and Iva (Drury) Golden.
Lee was a retired truck driver, railroad brakeman, farrier and farmer. He served in the Maryland National Guard and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 217 in Hagerstown, MD, having served as Worshipful Master and achieving the 32nd Degree in Freemasonry with the Scottish Rite. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Greencastle and for many years, enjoyed serving the community as part of the Kauffman Ruritan Club.
Lee was predeceased by his parents; his five siblings; Ethel, Hilda, Paul, Irvin and Jay; his children, Sharon Daniel and Jeffrey; and one grandson, Michael Lee Daniel. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda and their two children, Kerry and Lee Jr.; grandsons Matthew Daniel and Rhys Golden-Swartz; and great-grandchildren Michael and Noelle Daniel.
