Mrs. Kay F. (Cobb) Cazad, 82, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in Mercy House of Chambersburg.
Born June 3, 1943 in Glenwood, WV, she was the daughter of the late Carlos Cobb and Betty (Edmond) Gill.
She and her husband, the late Richard L. Cazad, were married on January 19, 1960 in Huntington, WV. Mr. Cazad died on April 23, 2014.
Mrs. Cazad was a homemaker, wife and mother.
She attended services at Paramount Baptist Church, Hagerstown, MD. She loved gardening and took pride in the flowers in her yard. She was also an avid bowler and was part of the Mason Dixon Women’s Bowling League, most recently in the “seniors coffee break league.”
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Catherine Cazad; two grandchildren, Caitlin Cazad and Aidan Cazad; one great-grandson, Dominic Lee Rivera; one sister, Peggy Cazad; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Lee Cazad and Donald Lee Cazad; and two sisters, Rita Cabell and Jessie Misner.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA. Burial will be private in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
