Waynesboro, Pa. – Waynesboro Area School District Director of Technology Nic Erickson has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Certified School Business Administrator by the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials.
The certification, approved by PASBO’s Board of Directors, represents the highest level of professional achievement a school business official can attain in the state. The honor reflects Erickson’s commitment to excellence in school business operations and professional integrity.
To earn certification, candidates must meet PASBO’s rigorous academic, ethical and professional standards, including formal education, related experience and continuing education requirements. Certification holders maintain their credentials through ongoing professional development and renewal every four years.
The “Administrator” designation is the top of the three certification levels offered by PASBO. Few professionals across Pennsylvania achieve this distinction.
District officials congratulated Erickson on the recognition, noting the accomplishment underscores his dedication to the district’s success and continuous improvement.
