Lisa Kay Shupp, 68, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Mercy House of Chambersburg with her loving family by her side. She was born December 9, 1957, in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Snyder) Cromwell. Surviving are her Husband, Jeffrey Shupp; two children: Jessica Bianco (husband Anthony) and John Shupp; one granddaughter: Flora Bianco; three sisters: Connie Wilkins, Peggy McCrossen (husband Brian), and Patty Cromwell; as well as multiple nieces and nephews. Lisa was a 1975 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She began her working career at her family’s restaurant, The Snak Shak, where she learned the value of hard work and the importance of caring for others. She later continued her career at The Beistle Company in Shippensburg. Lisa then went on to work at The Big Oak Cafe where she became a familiar and welcoming presence to coworkers and customers alike before retiring in 2021. Lisa had a strong passion for fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle. She was an active member of the Chambersburg YMCA where she instructed spin classes and participated in many others. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 4-7 pm at The Orchards restaurant. The family would like to especially thank The Mercy House of Chambersburg and Grane Hospice for their support and the compassionate and loving care of their caregivers and nurses. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any Memorial donations be made to The Mercy House of Chambersburg.
