HAGERSTOWN – The Washington County Chamber is set to host a regional healthcare update next month featuring the top leadership of Meritus Health.
The “Eggs & Issues” breakfast event, titled “Who is Meritus? More Than Just a Hospital,” will take place at 7 a.m. March 6 at the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Maulik Joshi, president and CEO of Meritus Health, and Dave Lehr, the system’s chief strategy officer, will serve as the keynote speakers. The presentation aims to provide community members and business leaders with an overview of the organization’s evolving role in the region.
According to event organizers, the discussion will cover the variety of services Meritus currently provides, community healthcare needs and generational changes within the industry.
The health system has expanded its footprint in recent years, including the integration of Brook Lane and the establishment of the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet two medical students during the program.
Early bird registration for the event is currently open. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members.
The event will be held at 11120 Health Drive in Hagerstown.
