Mr. Gerald E. Creager, Jr., 86, of Blue Ridge Summit, PA, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026 in the emergency room of WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital.
Born November 3, 1939 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Gerald E. Creager, Sr. and Pauline (Crilley) Creager.
Mr. Creager attended Washington Township High School and worked as a diesel mechanic at SGI in Blue Ridge Summit. A dedicated employee, he retired after 46 years of service.
Mr. Creager enjoyed camping with his family, listening to Blue Grass music and was an avid fan of NASCAR Racing.
He is survived by his wife of over 64 years, Mrs. Nancy M. (Sites) Creager, who he married July 22, 1961; son, Gerald E. Creager of Waynesboro; granddaughter, Aryn Creager; grandson, Trevor Creager; five great-grandchildren; sister, Saundra Orner of Waynesboro; and a host of extended family members and friends.
In addition to his father and step-mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Fountaindale Union Cemetery, near Fairfield.
