CHAMBERSBURG – The Friends of Legal Services Book Sale, an annual fundraiser supporting Franklin County Legal Services, is now accepting donations for its 2026 event.
The group is collecting gently used books in good condition, along with CDs, DVDs, rare books, puzzles and games, at the Book Room located in the MobileWorks building, 2116 Lincoln Way E., Chambersburg. Drop-off dates are set for Saturday, Feb. 21, and Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
Donors should avoid textbooks and encyclopedias. To reach the Book Room, park in the front right-side area and enter through the door nearest the former Snavely’s Garden Center (now AES Hearth & Patio) on U.S. 30 East near Fayetteville. The entrance is not the main office door; proceed right through the large “garage” doorway.
The sale itself is scheduled for Friday, May 8, through Sunday, May 10, at Laird Hall on the Wilson College campus in Chambersburg. Shoppers can browse thousands of books across all genres, plus media, puzzles, games and more, all offered at bargain prices. Proceeds directly benefit Franklin County Legal Services, which provides legal assistance to low-income residents in the area.
