Maverick is a 5-year-old German Shepherd that has unfortunately been bounced around through several homes before arriving at the shelter. He is a sweet guy that will need a home without other dogs, cats, or kids. He will also need a home that has Shepherd experience. He knows sit and will work for treats and is an incredibly loyal dog. Once you are his person, you will have a best friend for life. Maverick would love to find his loving forever home soon where he can settle down and not worry about where he will end up next! Nuevo had a very interesting way to arrive at the shelter. One of the staff was out on a call to pick up a stray dog and instead of picking up a dog (the dog’s owner was found) they picked up Nuevo! He walked right up to the van and really wanted them to be his friend. The staff member asked around the neighborhood to be sure that he was not owned by anyone nearby and when no one claimed him, he came back to the shelter. He is a 3-year-old boy who is so sweet and loves to cuddle. Could Nuevo come home with you?
