Mrs. Bonnie K. (Murray) Mickey, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026, at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation, Chambersburg, PA, where she had resided since August of 2025.
Born March 16, 1946, in Greencastle, PA; daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (Davis) Murray.
She graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1965.
She married Fred L. Mickey on March 29, 1970, in Williamson, PA, at the Williamson Lutheran Church. Fred passed away March 24, 2024, after nearly 54 years of marriage.
She was employed at the Stanley Company in Chambersburg, PA for 16 years.
Bonnie enjoyed cooking baking and country music. Her favorite singer was Loretta Lynn. Whenever she was cooking or cleaning around the house, she would break out singing a random song that would pop into her head! She also enjoyed going fishing with her family. She was happiest when spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Todd L. Mickey of McKeesport, PA and his girlfriend, Barbara Dyer of Liberty Boro, PA; two grandchildren: Dylan and Breanna Mickey; three great-grandchildren: Amari and Charlotte Bowens and Brandon Abdallah, Jr.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her only sibling, Lois Murray, who passed away in 2012.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
