WAYNESBORO – Waynesboro police have charged a 37-year-old alleged jealous boyfriend in connection with a March 17, 2025, incident that occurred about 3 a.m. on S. Potomac Street.
Isaiah J. Baker has been charged with one count of criminal attempt of homicide, two counts of aggravated assault and one count each of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, possessing instruments of a crime, loitering and prowling at night and recklessly endangering another person.
According to media reports, Baker climbed onto a nearby roof and fired four shots into his former girlfriend’s bedroom window, striking a male acquaintence in the ankle. The woman reportedly told police she had been texting and arguing with Baker earlier that evening.
Baker allegedly broke a window at the woman’s home earlier that night, and the other man helped her clean up broken glass, then stayed at her request, media reports said.
