CHAMBERSBURG – WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital welcomed some of Franklin County’s first New Year’s Day babies early Wednesday morning. James Lee Fisher was born at 1:40 a.m., weighing 7 pounds and measuring 19 inches long. He is the son of Elizabeth Fisher of Newburg. The family declined to share photos.
Also born that morning was Derwyn Cedric Eby. He arrived at 5:32 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 18.5 inches long. He is the son of Kimberly Eby of Clear Spring, Md.
