Mrs. W. Kay (Cluck) Eberly, 78, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.
Born September 9, 1947 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late David and Helen Hope (Conrad) Cluck.
Mrs. Eberly was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School.
She and her husband, the late Donald L. Eberly, were married on January 20, 1965. They were together for 57 years when he passed away October 5, 2022.
Mrs. Eberly was employed by the Waynesboro Area School District for over 30 years. She worked in many areas during her career, retiring as technical coordinator.
She enjoyed dining out with friends and spending time with her dogs. She enjoyed family trips to Tennessee and Myrtle Beach and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Eberly is survived by two children, Todd A. Eberly (Emily) of Chambersburg and Kristen D. Swope (Dennis) of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, Jenna Perry (Justin) of Chambersburg, Tyler Swope (Michal) of Mont Alto, Cory Eberly (fiancé – Jess Clark) of Brooksville, FL, Sean Eberly of Chambersburg and Jade Swope (fiancé – Steven Ridenour) of Waynesboro; seven great-grandchildren, Emma Swope, Noah Swope, Layla Thorsen, Luke Swope, Paisley Perry, Layken Ridenour and Cael Swope; one step-great-granddaughter, Kylee Perry; and her sister-in-law, Donna Bonebrake of Waynesboro.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 4, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor Dan Cluck officiating. Burial will be follow in Mont Alto Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, Thursday afternoon, in the funeral home.
