Mr. Clifford C. Campbell, Sr., 81, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born December 11, 1943 in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late Elijah H. and Clara (Beechley) Campbell.
He and his wife of over 61 years, Linda L. “Pat” (Rowe) Campbell, were married October 17, 1964, in St. Stephen’s UCC, Highfield, MD.
Mr. Campbell was employed in maintenance at Landis Machine Company, Waynesboro. He retired in 2006 after 45 years of service.
He was a life member of Mechanics Steam Fire Engine and Hose Co. #2, Waynesboro and the Waynesboro Fire Police. He also was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15, William Max McLaughlin VFW Post #695 and Eagles Club, Inc., all of Waynesboro.
Mr. Campbell enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Carol A. Sarakon of Waynesboro, Clifford C. Campbell, Jr. and his wife, Missy of Waynesboro and Dawn J. Keefer and her husband, Anthony of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his siblings Catherine Rowe and Samuel Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy L. Michael; three sisters, Alberta Callendar, Nancy Sheffler and Theresa Poole; and one brother, Herbert Campbell.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 28, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Rev. Dwan Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery, Cascade, MD.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday morning, in the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the Chambersburg Hospital and at Bayada Wound Care for the wonderful care that Cliff received.
