Ronald Francis Vinson, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Sunrise Nursing Home in Morrisville, PA, with the love of his life, Emily, by his side. Born in Waynesboro, PA on May 16, 1939, Ron was the son of the late Norman and Kathleen (Fogle) Vinson.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Ron lived a life rich in the things he loved most—family, sports, and the joy of a well-played round of golf. A true golf enthusiast, he cherished his many trips to Myrtle Beach with his longtime golf buddies. Ron was also an avid fan of Phillies baseball, Penn State football, and Villanova basketball, never missing a chance to cheer on his favorite teams.

Above all, Ron treasured time with his family. His happiest moments were those spent with his children and grandchildren, whose lives were brightened by his humor, warmth, and unwavering support.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Emily (Bishop) Vinson; his loving children, Megan and her husband Danial, of Langhorne, PA, and Matthew and his wife Jayna, of Calais, ME; his brother, Keith Vinson and his wife Carol, of Port Saint Lucie, FL; and seven cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Danial, Torianne, Jessica, Whitney, Nicholas, and Kobe. He also leaves behind five great-grandchildren—Taylor, Abigail, Ella, Haley, and Ripley—as well as his sister-in-law, Judith Wilcox, and several special nieces and nephews.

The Vinson family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Sunrise of Lower Makefield for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Ron in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
