Mr. Gerard P. “Gerry” Millman, 55, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, in his home.
Born October 16, 1970 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Eleanor (O’Brien) Stach of Waynesboro and the late Robert Millman.
He was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1988 and a 1992 graduate of the Broadcast Institute of Maryland.
Gerry started out working with local sound companies and the Maryland Theater. He began getting calls from other venues and eventually began touring with various rock groups. He was able to visit many foreign countries this way, which he enjoyed very much. Gerry was forced to retire early due to injuries sustained in an attempted murder when he was 17.
In his younger days, he was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Waynesboro. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts and attained the Order of the Arrow prior to graduating from high school. Music was his life and he was a member of all singing groups in high school. He was a member of the District Chorus in his senior year. Gerry loved animals, being outside doing yardwork, and lending a helping hand to others. He especially loved being with his children and was excited to be a grandfather.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Sylvia I. Spork; three children, Treya Millman of Hagerstown, MD, Aidan Millman of Frankfurt, Germany and Tristan Millman of Frankfurt, Germany; one granddaughter, Melaya Anderson; his siblings, Catherine Mentzer of Waynesboro, James Cruz of Burbank, CA and David Stach of Waynesboro; his step-father, Samuel Stach of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Millman; and one step-sister, Erin Paget.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 14, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Rev. Linda Watkins officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday afternoon, in the funeral home.
