WAYNESBORO – Gallery 50 hosts an opening reception for a new art exhibition, “Anything Goes” on Friday, Nov. 7 from 5:30–8 p.m. at 50 W. Main St. in downtown Waynesboro. The evening will showcase the new artwork and include free refreshments in addition to live music from The Flying Matlocks in the adjacent Music Makers space.
The 11 featured area artists are Cindy Baker, Ophelia Chambliss, Lina Ferrara, Jean Frey, Richard Gottlieb, Robb Helfrick, Kirby Heltebridle, Leslie McEntire, Maura Satchell, Deborah Slocum and Marti Yeager.
Reflective of the exhibit’s title, the artwork of “Anything Goes” includes a wide variety of paintings and photography covering different media, subjects and styles—just in time for holiday shopping.
The gallery will also have new fine art and crafts by local artists available on the shelves: pottery, wood carvings, jewelry, stained glass art, books, and more.
Following the reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 31, 2026. Gallery 50 is open Fridays from 5–8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The exhibit will soon be available to browse and purchase on the gallery’s online shop at www.gallery50-aagw.square.site
