Ruth M. Dopp, 98, of Greencastle, PA, passed away on Wednesday March 26, 2025, at Quincy Village Retirement Home in Waynesboro, PA.
She was born on July 11, 1926 in Uniontown, PA to the late Joseph and Mary (Conway) Coldren.
Ruth was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greencastle, PA, Greencastle VFW, and Second Milers Sunday.
She is survived by her husband, George E. Dopp, Jr. of Greencastle, PA; daughter Linda Kingsley and her husband Gregory of Greencastle, PA; son David Dopp and his wife Wanda of Greencastle, PA; son Wayne Dopp and his wife Lisa of Dillsburg, PA; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie Poper, 3 brothers James, Wilbur, and Donald Coldren, and a sister Delores McCulloh.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc. , 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA, Where Pastor Bill Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the funeral home above. Interment will follow the service in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
