Robert P. “Bob” Daley, 81, of Greencastle, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday March 29, 2025, at his home.
He was born on November 17, 1943, in Greencastle, PA to the late Pearrie Daley and Isabelle Glass.
Throughout his life, Bob was employed as a welder at Mack Truck in Hagerstown, MD and as an appliance repair technician at Sears.
Bob was a 1961 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, member of the VFW Club of Greencastle, Greencastle American Legion Post 373, and a past master of the Mount Pisgah Masonic Lodge No 443 in Greencastle, PA. Bob enjoyed classic cars, driving motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He traveled to the Chesapeake Bay frequently and even traveled with his daughter to Greencastle, Ireland and China. He loved trying new cuisines from different cultures and regions that he visited.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Lorie Daley of Greencastle, PA; daughter Angela Tideman and her husband Martijn of Los Gatos, CA; grandchildren Kai Tideman and Lilia Tideman; step-daughter Kaitlyn Reasner of Virginia; sister Nancy Yeager of Chambersburg, PA; and nieces Kelly Harmon and Jill Loudermilk.
Services will be private and have been entrusted to the Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, Inc.
