Mrs. Linda L. (Biesecker) Cole, 78, of Waynesboro, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 in the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born June 27, 1947 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Arthur S. and Mildred (Carmack) Biesecker.
Linda was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School.
She and her husband, the late Barry L. Cole, were married June 21, 1969. They were together for 42 years when he passed away January 10, 2012.
Linda worked at the Waynesboro Knitting Mill, Freeman Shoe Company and the Record Herald. However, she was a homemaker most of her life.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro.
Linda enjoyed sitting on her back porch, playing games on her phone and spending time with her sisters.
She is survived by two children, Robert L. “Bobby” Cole and his wife, Cheryl of Waynesboro and Faith A. Small and her husband, Derek of Mercersburg, PA; two grandchildren, Blake Small and Devin McGlaughlin; six brothers, Bob Biesecker and Bill Biesecker, both of Waynesboro, Jack Biesecker of Chambersburg, and Rich Biesecker, Henry Biesecker and Gene Biesecker, all of Waynesboro; three sisters, Dorie Heefner, Trudy Fessler and Joan Stull, all of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
