Mr. Glenn O. Martin, 83, of South Mountain, PA, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025.
Born November 20, 1941 in Quincy Township, Franklin County, he was the son of the late Charles O. and Nellie (Monn) Martin.
Glenn was a hardworking man with a true passion for his work. A jack of all trades, he worked from sunup to sundown, never shying away from a challenge. Over his years, he made his living as a farrier and welder, worked along side his son in the concrete industry and operated a butcher shop during deer season. He also worked at Corning Glass Works, in maintenance at the Comfort Inn and as a delivery driver for Fisher Auto Parts, to name a few. His strong work ethic left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Glenn leaves behind his wife, Georgia Martin; four children, Michael Martin (Kim), Missy Martin, Corey Martin (Danielle) and Chrissy Rotz; seven grandchildren, Kally, Luke, David, Charlotte, Oliver, Collin and Cami; and a number of nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by three sisters; and four brothers.
A service to honor Glenn’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
