Downtown Waynesboro will burst into spring with food, music and family-friendly fun as Spring Fest 2026 brings the community together Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, organized for residents and visitors alike, will feature more than 10 food trucks and 150 retail vendors, along with inflatable bounce houses, obstacle courses, a beer garden and live music throughout the day. Held in the heart of downtown Waynesboro, the festival aims to celebrate the season while supporting local businesses and creating a vibrant gathering space for all ages, with free admission and parking available.

Main Street Hagerstown will host Hagersfest 2026 on Saturday, May 2, a free community festival designed to celebrate the city’s vibrant arts and entertainment scene through a diverse lineup of performances and interactive exhibits. Gardeners looking to trade blooms instead of buying them can dig into a community favorite at the TWEP Perennial Exchange on Saturday, May 2 at the Charles Brightbill Environmental Center in Mercersburg. Hosted by the Tuscarora Wildlife Education Project, the free event invites participants to bring perennial plants from their own gardens and swap them for new varieties from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The exchange encourages residents to refresh their flower beds, share gardening knowledge and connect with others in the community while promoting sustainable gardening practices.
Raise a glass to spring in Franklin County as the 12th Annual Greencastle-Antrim Craft Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival returns to downtown Greencastle on Saturday, May 2, from noon to 5 p.m., offering attendees a chance to sample local brews, wines and distilled spirits while meeting the makers behind them.
